Next level Ninjas

Ninjas Plus is our next level programme which builds off our Series A resources, focussing on the next 150 skills above the 72 Series A Ninja Skills. Designed with learning science principles at the core, Ninjas Plus is the ideal next step programme once your students have mastered Series A.

Ninjas Plus features Bronze, Silver and Gold programmes.

  • BRONZE– the first Ninjas Plus programme and the next step beyond standard Numeracy Ninjas Series A
  • SILVER– the second Ninjas Plus programme and the next step after Ninjas Plus Bronze
  • GOLD– our most challenging Ninjas Plus programme and the next step after Ninjas Plus Silver

Each level features:

  • 50 Ninjas Plus Skill Check quizzes each featuring 10 questions
  • 50 new Ninja Skills
  • Target Ninja Skills identified for each Skill Check
  • Achievement certificates and stickers to track and celebrate progress

Next level design

To build retention and transfer of learning, New Ninja Skills get progressively harder as they are spaced between quizzes over time and are then interleaved in the final 10 Skill Checks.

Next level flexibility

Ninjas Plus is designed to be used flexibly so you can use it to meet the specific needs of your learners.

For most learners, particularly if they have mastered the Series A resources in Year 7 (aged 11-12), then you could run:

  • BRONZE– Year 8 (aged 12-13) one session per week
  • SILVER– Year 9 (aged 13-14) one session per week
  • GOLD– Year 10 (aged 14-15) one session per week

With 50 Ninjas Plus Skill Checks in each programme, you could double up some weeks and will cover the programme over the course of an academic year. However, other learners could cover the programmes in earlier or later years or at a faster or slower pace to meet their specific needs.

You can use the Ninjas Plus Skill Checks in class, for homeworks, for progress interventions, home schooling or tutoring- the possibilities are endless.

Next level rewards

No more coloured Ninja Belts, Ninjas Plus goes for a more grown up approach to recognising your learners’ progress with Achievement Certificates which track their Ninja Score and on which to place Completion Stickers as your learners reach milestones through the programme.
